A Look At The Oakland Raiders 2018 NFL Draft Picks

Friday, the NFL announced the teams that were awarded Compensatory Draft Choices in the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft. According to league rules, The level of compensation (i.e., the round and selection number within the round) that the prior club receives for each CFA lost is based upon a weighted combination of the CFA's average yearly compensation, postseason honors and playtime with the new club, ranked against all players in the League who are on rosters at the end of the season.

Prior to Friday, the Oakland Raiders had a total of seven picks, but that number has since increased to 11. The Silver and Black were awarded four picks, with all selections coming in the sixth round, representing the 210th, 212th, 216th, and 217th overall choices. The Raiders were one of four teams to be awarded four picks, the others being the Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, and Green Bay Packers.

Starting Tuesday, the NFL Scouting Combine will be underway in Indianapolis, Ind., and will feature many players the Raiders could end up selecting come Draft Day on April 26-28. Keep your eyes peeled for news, updates, and videos this week, as Raiders.com gets to work in Indy.
