Key Procedures for the Supplemental Draft:

  1. The Draft will continue until all players are selected or seven rounds are completed, whichever occurs first. Each round will last 10 minutes.
  1. If a player is selected in a given round, the selecting club will forfeit that specific selection in the same round in the April 2016 Draft.
  1. Priority in the Supplemental Draft will be established by a weighted lottery, which will be conducted the morning of the Supplemental Draft. Clubs will be notified of the priority for the Supplemental Draft shortly before 1:00 p.m., and no more trades involving draft choices will be accepted until the Draft is over. The order of each round will reflect any previously completed trades.

The Raiders have used supplemental selections on five players. In 1973, DE Blenda Gay was selected in the first round of the supplemental draft. In 1984, a supplemental draft was held when the USFL disbanded, and included CFL. The Raiders took WR Chris Woods in the first round, LB Stewart Hill in the second round and guard James Farr in the third round. In 2011, the Raiders selected QB Terrelle Pryor in the 3rd round of the supplemental draft.

Notable NFL supplemental draft selections include quarterbacks Steve Walsh and Bernie Kosar, RB Bobby Humphrey, WR Cris Carter and LB Brian Bosworth.
