Angel joined the Raiderettes in 2007 while still in high school and this year she's back for her fourth season. Angel earned recognition as Dancer of the Year in 2008.
She was born and raised in Antioch, Calif., where she served as captain of her high school cheer team for two consecutive years. She went on to Paris Beauty College to advance her skills in cosmetology and earned her license in cosmetology earlier this year. Angel aspires to work in a high-end salon.
Along with dancing, Angel was also a runway and print model. She entered many pageants as a youngster, winning the Miss Millennium title in 2000. Angel is very athletic and stays in shape through cheerleading, and hip hop and jazz dancing. When she is not dancing, she enjoys playing basketball and softball.
During her four years as a Raiderette, Angel has made priceless memories. She traveled to Malaysia to unveil Air Asia's Raider-themed airplane on which she is prominently featured. Angel also had the opportunity to visit US troops in the Japan during the Super Bowl.
"I have been a Raider fan and a dancer my whole life," said Angel. "My favorite parts of being a Raiderette is the sisterhood, the bond with all the girls, the fans and the enjoyment of being on the field."
Fortunately for Angel, she is able to combine those elements and take part in the rich legacy of the Raider organization.
