Earlier this week, the Oakland Raiders donated approximately 20 televisions to the Oakland Unified School District, for distribution to schools within the district.

"We are delighted to assist the Oakland Unified School District with its efforts to enhance the learning experience for students in our community," said Amy Trask.

The television donation was assisted by Superintendent Dr. Tony Smith, Chief Financial Officer Vernon Hal and Deputy Superintendent Maria Santos from the Oakland Unified School District.

The donation is just one of many youth and education initiatives that are part of the Silver and Black's many community initiatives.

The Silver and Black maintains a global presence and communicates with the worldwide Raider Nation through the team's official web sites which feature original and translated content in six different languages - Tagalog, Japanese, German, Chinese, Spanish and English.
