- Early in practice, Matt Schaub connected on a pass with Rahsaan Vaughn who made an athletic one-handed grab.
- Andre Holmes made a leaping catch on a ball thrown from Derek Carr down the middle of the field.
- Darren McFadden took a handoff from Schaub, ran right but then reversed and found a hole in the left side of the offensive line and was able to break into the secondary.
- Schaub dropped back in the pocket and threw a looping pass to Mychal Rivera who was able to gain separation from Carlos Rogers and make the diving catch.
- The Raiders had their first dustup of training camp as tempers flared momentarily between Austin Howard and Justin Ellis before their teammates separated them.
