- Maurice Jones-Drew took a carry from Matt Schaub, made a nice cut and than ran over the right side of the offensive line into the secondary.
- Derek Carr connected with Juron Criner as he was sprinting down the middle of the field finding the receiver in stride, who corralled the ball and went in for the score.
- Khalil Mack played tight defense on Marcel Reece and was able to knock away the Derek Carr pass that was intended for the FB.
- Carr dropped back in the pocket, pump faked and than threw a soaring pass to Brice Butler who was able to beat the defensive coverage of TJ Carrie.
- Tarell Brown was able to break up a Matt Schaub pass intended for Denarius Moore during the latter stages of practice.
