Road to the Draft: Top college pro days to watch

As all 32 NFL teams prepare for the 2026 Draft, college pro days are underway as scouts continue their evaluation process.

Top schools that have already conducted their pro day include Clemson, Oklahoma, Oregon and Georgia, but there's more to come over the next few weeks.

Here's a look at three of the most anticipated upcoming pro days, with top tier talent stacked at each of these universities.

Miami, March 23

For a Raiders team trying to add depth in the trenches, on both sides of the ball, there might not be a better pro day to visit.

The Hurricanes, coming off their first national championship game berth in over 20 years, have a trio of linemen that could be first-round picks this April. Defensive linemen Rueben Bain Jr. and Akheem Mesidor combined for 22 sacks and 33 tackles for loss in 2025. Meanwhile, offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa received a 87 pass blocking grade from Pro Football Focus (PFF) and was named a Consensus All-American and First-Team All-ACC.

On the other side from Mauigoa, Miami had another behemoth of a man in Markel Bell, who is projected to be an early Day 3 pick. The 6-foot-9, 346-pound tackle did not allow a sack last season. And even though the Raiders just signed free agent Tyler Linderbaum, center James Brockermeyer is another prospect to evaluate as he only allowed one sack in his collegiate career.

Ohio State, March 25

Based on how the NFL Combine went, or really the last two seasons for that matter, Ohio State's pro day could have the most NFL-ready talent.

The 2024 National Champions have four players who could be selected in the top 10 of the draft: Linebackers Arvell Reese and Sonny Styles, wide receiver Carnell Tate and safety Caleb Downs. All-American defensive tackle Kayden McDonald is also projected to be a late first-round pick, but could slide to the second round, and even No. 36 when the Raiders are on the clock.

Beyond their star players, the Buckeyes have a variety of quality players with tight ends Max Klare and Will Kacmarek, cornerback Davison Igbinosun and defensive end Caden Curry. It's also worth noting that safety Lorenzo Styles Jr., Sonny's older brother, ran the second-fastest 40-yard dash (4.27) of any participant at the NFL Combine this year.

Indiana, April 1

This is an obvious pro day for Raider Nation's radar considering potential No. 1 pick Fernando Mendoza will be in action.

While the quarterback didn't partake in Combine live drills, he said he'll be throwing at his pro day. This will be the first chance to see Mendoza on the field since the quarterback led the Hoosiers to their first national championship back in January. Mendoza will be throwing to his teammates and fellow draft prospects in receivers Omar Cooper Jr. and Elijah Sarratt, as well as running backs Kaelon Black and Roman Hemby.

Indiana will have a few players on the defensive side to watch including cornerback D'Angelo Ponds, who the Raiders had a formal interview with at the Combine. Linebacker Aidan Fisher is another person of interest, with 10.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and two interceptions in his senior campaign.
