Raiders 2026 Mock Draft Tracker 4.0

26_Mock-Draft-Web_v4

Each week leading up to the NFL Draft, Raiders.com will compile the latest mock drafts from top analysts and take a look at who they're predicting the Silver and Black will select with the No. 1 overall pick.

See what the experts are predicting with the 2026 Combine now wrapped.

Round 1 Pick: Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

Round 2 Pick: Lee Hunter, DT, Texas Tech

Analysis: "The Raiders haven't drafted a QB in the first round since 2007 (JaMarcus Russell), but you can write this pick down with a marker. It would be a stunner if Las Vegas elected not to draft Mendoza. The clear top QB in this year's class has a combination of accuracy, resiliency and decision-making -- exactly what the Raiders need under center. Adding Mendoza to third-year tight end Brock Bowers and second-year running back Ashton Jeanty gives new head coach Klint Kubiak a promising offensive trio to build around."

"The Raiders are switching to a 3-4 defense next season and need a centerpiece on their front. Hunter is a massive presence in the middle (6-foot-4, 318 pounds) and a player you can build a culture around."

Date: March 3

Pick: Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

Analysis: "Ultra-accurate quarterback who is able to pick apart defenses -- provided he gets proper protection."

Date: March 2

Pick: Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

Analysis: "He didn't work out in Indy. Didn't have to. When you're 6-foot-5, 236 pounds, paced FBS with 41 TD passes, process like a microchip and just led your school to a magical national championship? Heck, there's virtually nothing Mendoza can do at this point to help his football résumé – though interactions with reporters and his fellow combine attendees continued to burnish his reputation as an outstanding person and teammate."

Date: March 2

Pick: Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

Analysis: "Mendoza didn't participate in combine drills, but he did weigh in at 236 pounds, which is a great number for him. That puts the Matt Ryan comparisons firmly into the equation — build, arm strength and how he plays the game."

Date: March 2

Pick: Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

Analysis: "In a world of uncertainty, this feels like the closest thing to a sure bet. It makes too much sense not to happen."

Date: March 2

Pick: Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

Analysis: "Don't overthink it. Barring some unforeseen path the Raiders take this offseason, Mendoza looks like the signal-caller of the future in Las Vegas. Mendoza checks a lot of boxes at QB, especially his overall size as Mendoza not only stands 6-foot-5 but weighed in at a strong 236 pounds in Indianapolis. And his sense of timing, ability to throw on the move, and willingness to push the ball are a great match for Klint Kubiak's offense that constantly asks quarterbacks to work inside and outside of the pocket and into tight spots over the middle of the field. The Raiders' skill position talent already has strong, young playmakers (maybe one more outside receiver would be nice!) who can help ease Mendoza's transition to the next level."

Date: March 2

Pick: Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

Analysis: "No combine workout for the obvious choice for the top spot – and none is necessary. Mendoza cleared nearly every bar he faced en route to winning the Heisman Trophy and leading the Hoosiers to a national title, and an on-field session would do little to address his most prominent ding: a shortage of resourcefulness when things break down. Circle his pro day if you really must see him throw again in an exhibition setting, but his spot atop the draft is seemingly secure."

Date: Feb. 26

Pick: Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

Analysis: "The Raiders love the idea of Mendoza, a guy whose intelligence and diligence are pro-ready."

Date: Feb. 26

The Las Vegas Raiders partnered with the National Rugby League to host 43 Clark County Schools in a flag football round robin tournament during the NRL Gala Day.
