With the 70th pick, the Las Vegas Raiders selected defensive tackle Byron Young out of Alabama.
In four seasons with the Crimson Tide, Young was dependable, totaling 130 tackles, 20 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks across 54 games. He started all 13 games in 2022, recording nine QB hits (the most among SEC IDL, per Pro Football Focus) and a career-high 28 pressures.
He earned All-SEC honors from the Associated Press and appeared in the Senior Bowl in February.
