Raiders' second-round pick Jack Bech has hit the last stretch of his rookie season with a few big catches and gained experiences to show for it.
This week, we reached out to Raider Nation to see what they wanted to know about Bech. Take a look at his answers below to questions submitted via Instagram stories.
@clabenske asks:
"Best food from your home state?"
"Either gumbo or I would say my grandma's shrimp stew with boiled eggs in it. It's fire. And not too many people know about if you're not from Louisiana, but if you can get your hands on it, I highly recommend it."
@aaron242908 asks:
"What's been the biggest difference from college football to being in the NFL?"
"You take the best players on the college field and that's everyone on the NFL field. So just the mental standpoint, the physical standpoint. Everybody's big, strong, fast but everybody's smart, and I feel like that's the biggest difference."
@3100wc.jake asks:
"Who's been your biggest mentor this season?"
"There's been a few guys like Tre Tucker, Jakobi Meyers and Maxx Crosby, Geno [Smith]. They've all really helped me string along throughout this process. They've all helped me build my confidence up. They've all given me pointers on how to go about my business, especially Maxx with the mindset piece of things. Those four guys have played a big role in helping me develop this year."
@ajm.015 asks
"Why do you wear No. 18 and what does it represent to you?"
"I kind of just wore it at TCU my junior and senior year just because. But then that was the last time my brother got to watch me play football, was my senior year at TCU wearing number 18. So I was like, I might as well just keep rocking 18."
@rolanisme asks:
"Do you have any pregame rituals?"
"I have a little soundtrack I listen to and I always pray to the Lord and my brother before every game. It just gives me the peace and the confidence to just go out there do my thing. It's a mental, motivational talk that I listen to every game just to get my mind right."
@stefanovoci asks:
"What's your favorite thing to do outside of football?"
"Personally, I would probably say golf. I love going golfing. I would definitely say that's up there."
@jackbechlover asks:
"Who's inspired you the most in your football journey?"
"My brother's definitely inspired me the most with his passing to just every morning wake up and be thankful and grateful no matter what's going on. To just realize what we're able to do, 99.9 percent of people on this earth would give an arm and a leg to do what we do. So, being so thankful and grateful each and every day, coming out here and being able to live out not only my dream, but my brother's dream.
"When things get hard and I get tired, I keep pushing through because I have the greatest guardian angels in the Lord and my brother. My brother has definitely been my biggest motivation and the biggest influence in my game. Not only did he teach me how to play the game, but he continues to push me each and every day."
