Raiders Coaches of the Week: Week 2

Each week on Raiders.com, a coach from the Oakland and Las Vegas areas will be chosen as the Coach of the Week, and each will be awarded with a $1,000 donation to the school’s football program. Before the Oakland Raiders head to Minnesota to face the Vikings, let's honor a pair of coaches of the week, presented by Gatorade.

Oakland

Michael Peters, from McClymonds High School in Oakland, was named The Oakland Raiders High School “Coach of the Week”. The Warriors welcomed their 2-0 opponent dominated in a shutout win 20-0. Las Vegas

Ricky Pickens, from Ed W. Clark High School in Las Vegas, was named The Oakland Raiders High School “Coach of the Week”. The Chargers battled thru a slow offensive night but were triumphant defensively to come out on top to a 12-6 win. The win improves the Chargers record to 2-1.
