Raider Nation on Location and Raiderettes Maureen, Caitlin, Bess, Mallorie, Alli, Jennifer, Itza, Melissa, Brandi, Jen, Tori, Natalie, Lytisha, Jenna, Jenny and Leia participated in MUG Root Beer Float Day benefitting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) before the Oakland A's faced off against the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Coliseum. The 2012 event offered diet soda and sugar-free ice cream and raised over $24,000 for JDRF, according to the Oakland A's website.

The charity event hit home for Raiderette Maureen. "I've been a Type 1 diabetic for 13 years so I grew up with it," said Maureen. "It's nice to be here supporting something that I live with and being with all my sisters helping me out."
