Raiders Participate in Toys for Tots

DTs Antonio Smith and Justin Ellis, LB Khalil Mack and CB TJ Carrie signed autographs in exchange for new, unwrapped toys or donations at The Raider Image at Southland Mall. The toys will be distributed to kids in Alameda County during the holidays.

This was the second installment of Toys for Tots with Raiders players at The Raider Image this season.

Fans were excited to meet some of their favorite defensive players and the three rookies and one veteran were happy to give their team to meet Raider Nation and give back to the local community.

Smith: "It's always best to give and if I can give just a little bit of my time and enjoy being with the Raider Nation at the same time, I'm winning."

Mack: "Christmas time is my favorite time of the year. It just so happens that Raider Nation gets to be a part of it with me. Coming out here and getting the support from them and giving back to Toys for Tots for less fortunate families is a bonus. I'm glad to be a part of it."

Ellis: "I really enjoy this kind of stuff. I always brag about the Raider Nation. I think it's the best fan base there is. On top of that, I love the kids, so I was excited about coming out."

Carrie: "Today was a blessing to come out there with the Christmas spirit today and really give back to the community, really give and doing something positive for both ends of the party. Helping the fans out, I think this was a big thing for us to come out there and show some support. I had fun."
