Previo al partido del domingo en el Coliseo ningĂșn otro equipo en la NFL habĂa permitido mas yardas por tierra en el 2019 que los Bengals.
Aunque los Raiders no igualaron el promedio de yardas por tierra permitidas por Cincinnati (173) en el 2019, si dominaron la lĂnea de golpeo.
Josh Jacobs, después de ser designado Novato de la Semana, tuvo un desempeño usual al acumular 73 yardas por tierra antes del medio tiempo y superó las 100 yardas antes de finalizar el partido.
Cada semana Jacobs a mejorado aunque este domingo perdió un balón en la zona roja el cual los Bengals convirtieron en puntos pero a pesar de eso dio un buen desempeño.
3. Preparen la Sal y Pimienta.
Los novatos de los Raiders estån dando una grata sorpresa la cual hay que disfrutar. Aparte del desempeño de Jacobs y otros en la ofensiva, Maxx Crosby y Clelin Ferrell también han dado de que hablar para bien.
Después de un partido espectacular en contra de los Chargers, Clelin Ferrell tuvo otro partido sobresaliente al presionar constantemente al mariscal Ryan Finley y desviar un pase en su primera serie ofensiva.
Por su parte, su compañero Maxx Crosby tambiĂ©n se hizo presente al inicio del partido al capturar a Finley y forzar un balĂłn suelto que recuperĂł Maurice Hurst. Pero eso solo fue el inicio ya que al final del partido tenĂa tres capturas a su crĂ©dito.
Es bueno ver que los novatos estĂĄn listos para una transiciĂłn en la alineaciĂłn lo cual deja entre ver un buen futuro en Las Vegas.
4. Joe Mixon tuvo lo suyo.
Una forma de ayudar a un mariscal novato en su segundo partido como titular es apoyarlo con un buen ataque terrestre.
Los Bengals perdieron su decimo de la temporada 2019 pero Joe Mixon tratĂł de ayudar lo mas que pudo a Ryan Finley en Oakland.
El corredor acarreĂł el balĂłn en 15 ocasiones acumulando 86 yardas con un touchdown siendo asĂ la mejor arma de la ofensiva visitante la cual causĂł varias complicaciones a la defensiva local.
5. Derek Carr hizo lo propio.
Las estadĂsticas de Carr en el 2019 no han sido muy sobresalientes de manera constante en el 2019, no que hayan sido necesarias, pero el domingo hizo lo que tenĂa que hacer.
Carr complete los primeros 14 pases que lanzĂł y tuvo control total de la ofensiva y cuando la defensiva le dio oportunidad, buscĂł el pase largo.
Al final del partido completĂł 25 de 29 pases para 292 yardas, un touchdown y una intercepciĂłn ayudando al Plata y Negro a ganar su tercer partido consecutivo.
6. Los Bengals no se rindieron.
Es fåcil ver el calendario de juegos y ver que se aproxima la visita de un equipo que no conoce la victoria en la actual temporada y pensar que serå un partido fåcil, sin embargo, hay que dar crédito a los Bengals ya que no se mostraron como un equipo sin ganar.
Fueron los primeros en anotar cuando Joe Mixon llegĂł a las diagonales en un acarreo de tres yardas en el primer cuarto dĂĄndole una prematura ventaja a los visitantes. Ventaja que no durĂł mucho ya que Foster Mareau empatĂł el marcador posteriormente y los Raiders nunca mĂĄs volvieron a estar en desventaja en el partido camino a su sexta victoria de la temporada a pesar de que los Bengals no facilitaron para nada las cosas.
No hay tal cosa como un partido fĂĄcil en la NFL y los Bengals se cercioraron de que asĂ fuera para los Raiders a pesar de perder por decima ocasiĂłn en la temporada.
