What to know
While the Raiders are working on a short week coming off Monday Night Football, Washington has a bit more time to prepare after playing in Thursday Night Football last week. It's time their quarterback will need as Jayden Daniels is "day-to-day" with a knee injury suffered in the second half of the team's Week 2 loss to the Packers. Head Coach Dan Quinn noted Wednesday that Daniels' rehab session went well, but the quarterback won't practice until Friday at the earliest, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
If Daniels isn't ready to go Sunday, Commanders backup quarterback and former Raider Marcus Mariota is in line to start. Last season in three games for the Commanders, Mariota completed 77.3 percent of his passes for 364 yards and four touchdowns.
