The Oakland Raiders are less than a week from competition, but the NFL will officially kickoff this Thursday with a bout between the Atlanta Falcons and the reigning Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. With football set to begin in 48 hours, power rankings are beginning to surface. A handful of media groups have recently released their rankings, and an in-depth look at where the Raiders stand.
Keep in mind Raider Nation, the power rankings are subject to change, and rarely do any teams stay exactly finish the season exactly where they are, so take them with a grain of salt. The Raiders have a tough test Week 1, as they host the Los Angeles Rams at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on Monday Night Football, but it's sure to be an entertaining game.
