Oakland Raiders Select David Sharpe In Fourth Round Of 2017 NFL Daft

The Oakland Raiders have selected tackle David Sharpe in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

2016: Declared for the NFL Draft after his junior season… Started all 13 games at left tackle for the Gators… Was one of two Gators to start every game throughout the season… 2015: Played in all 14 games, starting 13 at left tackle… 2014: Played in six games as a true freshman, working his way into the offensive line rotation… Saw action at left tackle in a reserve role.

PRIOR TO FLORIDA:

2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl selection… Named to the MaxPreps All-America First Team… Helped Providence average 227.3 rushing yards per game in 2013… Also played basketball in high school… Chose to attend Florida over Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, South Carolina and Tennessee among others… Coached by Bobby Raulerson.
