HENDERSON, Nev. – The Las Vegas Raiders have signed free agent LB Germaine Pratt, the club announced Thursday.
Pratt was originally a 2019 third-round draft pick of the Bengals (72nd overall) and has played in 96 career games with 88 starts over six seasons, totaling 616 career tackles (349 solo), 32 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, seven interceptions, 23 passes defensed, seven forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries. He has also appeared in seven postseason contests and recorded 49 tackles, four passes defensed and one interception.
He's started all 34 games over the past two years and registered back-to-back 100-plus tackle seasons, including a career-high 143 tackles (80) in 2024. His 143 tackles last season ranked tied for ninth-most in the NFL. Pratt also is only one of three players in the league with at least five interceptions, five forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries since the start of the 2021 season.
A native of High Point, N.C., Pratt played five seasons (2014-18) at North Carolina State. He played safety in his first three seasons before switching to linebacker. He earned first-team All-ACC honors as a senior in 2018 after leading the team with 104 tackles.
In a corresponding move, the Raiders have waived S Jonathan Sutherland.
