Smith joins the Raiders after appearing in three contests for the Tennessee Titans this season. Originally an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State, Smith signed with the Seattle Seahawks as a rookie in 2015 before spending the majority of his first four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. Over his five-year career, Smith has appeared in 52 contests and made two starts, compiling 101 rush attempts for 364 yards and five touchdowns, adding 30 receptions for 272 yards and an additional score.
Smith will wear jersey No. 34 with the Raiders.
Moreau has been placed on the Reserve/Injured List after appearing in all 13 games this season while making seven starts. Selected in the fourth round (137th overall) of this year's NFL Draft, Moreau recorded 21 receptions for 174 yards and five touchdowns, an NFL best among rookie tight ends in 2019.
