Raiders sign third-round pick defensive end Arden Key

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed third-round draft pick DE Arden Key, the club announced Friday.

Key was selected 87th overall by the Raiders in April's draft. In three seasons (2015-17) at LSU, Key appeared in 31 games and made 28 starts for the Tigers, tallying 130 tackles (59 solo), including 26.5 for loss, 21 sacks, four passes defensed, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Selected to the Associated Press All-SEC First Team two times (2016-17) in his collegiate career, the 6-foot-5, 238-pound defensive end's 21 career sacks are tied for third-most in school history.

A native of Decatur, Ga., Key notched 33 tackles (15), four sacks and one forced fumble in eight games as a junior in 2017. He recorded a career-best and school-record 12 sacks in 2016 and earned Freshman All-American honors in 2015 after playing in all 12 contests and collecting five sacks.
