HENDERSON, Nev. – The Las Vegas Raiders have claimed LB Brennan Jackson via waivers from the Los Angeles Rams and signed free agent OL Stone Forsythe, the club announced Wednesday.
Jackson comes to the Silver and Black after one season with the Los Angeles Rams, where he played in seven games (one start) and recorded two tackles and one pass defensed, as well as one special teams tackle. Jackson was the Rams' fifth-round pick (154th overall) in the 2024 NFL Draft. The 6-4, 263-pound linebacker hails from Montgomery, Ohio and spent six seasons at Washington State University (2018-23), where he led the team in sacks (8.5) and tackles for loss (12.5) and added 57 tackles (26 solo) as a graduate player in 2023.
Forsythe joins the Raiders for his fifth NFL season after spending training camp with the New York Giants. Prior to his time with the Giants, Forsythe spent the first four years of his career with the Seattle Seahawks (2021-24). Forsythe played three seasons under Head Coach Pete Carroll in Seattle (2021-23) and was originally a sixth-round selection (208th overall) by the Seahawks in the 2021 NFL Draft. Over his four seasons with the Seahawks, Forsythe played in 53 regular season games and made 14 starts, adding one postseason appearance in 2022. The 6-8, 307-pound offensive lineman played five seasons at the University of Florida, where he finished his career with 40 games played and 28 starts, seeing time at both guard and tackle during his career.
In corresponding moves, the Raiders waived T Thayer Munford Jr. and placed QB Aidan O'Connell on the Reserve/Injured list.
